Honorary Degrees
An honorary degree is one of the highest awards given by the university, and acknowledges individuals who have shown outstanding service to humanity globally, nationally, or locally. The Committee on Honorary Degrees welcomes the submission of honorary degree candidate ideas from all disciplines.

University Lectures
The Lectures Committee considers funding requests for distinguished lecturers by departments, academic programs and student organizations. These university-wide lectures must be open to the public and should be of interest to students, preferably in multiple disciplines. Starting in the 2025 calendar year, proposals will be accepted twice a semester, with the following deadlines: February 15, April 15, September 15 and November 15.
